A compatible spare part is a part made by someone other than the original manufacturer that meets the machine's dimensional and operating requirements. EVOPAK is an independent company; it has no affiliation with Multivac, and the brand name is used only as a compatibility reference.
First identify the right part
The machine model, serial number and, if possible, the OEM number on the part speed up matching. If the number is not legible, a clear photo and the dimensions of the part may be enough.
Dimensions and material
The most critical points in choosing a compatible part are dimensional tolerance and material. For cutting parts, hardness matters; for gaskets and rubber parts, the material type and hardness matter.
Lead time and stock
On lines where downtime is costly, a part in stock can be worth more than a low price. Ask about the lead time as well as the price in your quote.
Technical support
If you need adjustment or commissioning support after the part is fitted, the process is shorter when the supplier also has a technical service. EVOPAK provides both parts and service.
